How do I know what IDE ATA hard drive is my 3 years of Dell?
It is 3 years old Dell computer and hard drive should be replaced. I I do not know if it is an ATA/66 or 100 or 133. What is the easiest way I can say without any documentation? And if I can not boot the operating system?
There is no way to say … but if you buy an ATA greatest number was recorded down if the card is not compatible with speeds less than that. So no matter what, just buy the 133 to be on the right side.
