What classic movie can you take?
There is always a so-called "classic" film can not get up and see why is considered as one of the largest. Citezin Kane and Casablanca would be mine. Not as much as I hate them, and I can see why they are considered classics, simply I was bored as I film, I partically is classified as very high. And the sponsor, while the brilliant performances, bored me to hell. It was a performance classic – nothing more. What's yours?
It does bother me when films are classified as "Classic" purely by the fact that they have length, or the use of new techniques during the filming. I have a problem with Citizen Kane. Studied films was so when I did film studies in college and we were told how advanced for its time, but as a film alone, and compared to many others, I personally do not think it should be classified as a classic that automatically makes me hate! But the film I thought when I read your question was A Clockwork Orange. People rave and continues to this film and I can not stand it. Mainly because of the scenes very disturbing, I think it is totally unnecessary. Why is classified as a classic puzzles me, but there you go – Has all kinds!
