Yamaha Rhino machinability question?
I am very familiar with these machines, but one of my clients I scratched my head units. Is a bit 660 modded rhino and a slide in the air box replacement. It seems to "stumble at high r in the context of acceleration. The valves are fixed, carbohydrates are clean and jets, are two known good CDI box, the new PAC, the top coil candle, coil primary and tests a good momentum and the unit features 91 new to the tank. Where I can go from here guys? I lost about two days of work in this glorified golf cart and do not really know where to look next. Please no stupid comments. Thank you both for your time and advice, a leak test carried me in the right direction. I had to recut the valves expo to correct the problem. Its still in my view that the valve seat machining can cause this problem. but its out of my life now, yay!
Remove all hoses fan connected to the carburetor – that stem the flow of air to the tank, slowly starving engine of fuel (with few resources). Replacement air box may be so for the air (lean condition). Try locking parts of the airbox intake tape – Entries close increments. I had the same problems when drilling holes in the air filter cover many (as specified). Install the stock air box, air filter and jets of actions to check if the problem repairs – then you will know if the problem is fuel. Try adjusting the needle in smaller increments (not a clip at a time), but with thin slices that come with kits jet. Merry Christmas!
