Die tie dye may remain on the shirt for more than 24 hours as long as it is in the zipper bag?
HELP! Deputy dyed middle class on Friday and zip up … Installation can stay for 48 hours or until Monday?? Or I have to go on Sunday and rinse. (That I do not want to do, but). I do not want to ruin his shirt, having worked hard for them. Thanks in advance for any shared knowledge.
No problem at all stained sections of the left in bags two or three days, as sodium carbonate to prevent mold growth. Assuming you used a good team tie-dye, or any other good fiber reactive ink, giving the shirts longer than necessary in general is a good thing. The excess dye only reacts with moisture, if none is found for permanent to the wrong part of the shirts. This means that it is safe to withdraw all t-shirts in a single load washing machine (or as much as you FIT), without fear of color transfer a dark shirt with a light. Rinse with cold water once, then twice in hot water (140 degrees or more) to remove all excess dye alone. You can wash hand, for the first time in cold water, then in the hottest water available, but the method of the machine is completely safe and is better if you have access to one. If you used ink Rit, the dye is washed mainly because the dye used is not appropriate for this style of dyeing. Always use fiber reactive dyes as a means of Procion MX contrast, when carrying out multi-colored tie-dye.
